DO I NEED TO REGISTER WITH A PARTNER?

  • To keep the festival balanced, we welcome an equal number of leaders and followers.
  • We encourage you to register with a dance partner. 
  • Single registration is possible, but you might be put on the waiting list until we find you a match or until you find a partner. 
  • If you are on the waiting list and later on you find a dance partner, ask them to add you as their dance partner when they register so you can be matched.

HOW TO REGISTER?

  • Click on the ‘Registration’ button at the top of this page.
  • Fill out the registration form and provide the necessary personal information.
  • Select your Shake The Change pass.
  • Add a partner by providing their name and surname.
  • The person you are applying with has to register and provide your name and surname as well.
  • If you do not provide a partner and apply solo, you will be put on the waiting list until we find you a match or until you match up yourself.
  • Check the boxes to agree with all our policies, terms and conditions.
  • Hitting the submit button concludes the registration process. Provided you selected a dance partner, a notification will be sent to you confirming your registration. You will receive an additional notification concerning the payment of your admittance fee. These notifications will be sent via the e-mail address you provided.
  • If you are put on a waiting list, you will receive confirmation of your registration however details regarding payment will be sent to you after you find a dance partner or when we match you up with someone. If you partner up on your own please do let us know.
  • You will be invited to pay your admittance fee via bank transfer within 10 working days.
  • When we receive your payment, we will send you confirmation of admittance and your invoice via e-mail address you provided. In order to fully secure your place at the festival, both partners have to pay within the timeframe mentioned above.

HOW DO I REGISTER AS A PART OF A GROUP?

  • Groups need to have a balanced number of Leads and Follows
  • Shake The Change Festival offers a discount for group applications of 10 people. The early bird discount does not stack with a group discount. If you apply as a group within the early bird period, discount will be subtracted from the full price rather then the early bird price. Pricing
  • Click on the ‘Registration’ button at the top of this page.
  • Fill out the registration form and provide the necessary personal information.
  • Select your Shake The Change pass.
  • Provide the name of the group you are registering with. 
  • Every group is required to select a group admin. If you are that person, please fill out the registration form accordingly.
  • Check the boxes to agree with all our policies, terms and conditions.
  • Hitting the submit button concludes the registration process. A notification will be sent to you confirming your registration.
  • If you are the admin of the group, a notification will be sent to you confirming your registration. You will receive an additional notification concerning the payment of the group’s admittance fee. These notifications will be sent via the e-mail address you provided.

GENERAL FESTIVAL RULES

  • If we have not received your payment within ten working days, your registration may be canceled in order to give other people the chance to participate. If you have any problems, issues, or questions regarding your payment, please write to us at info@shakethechange.si
  • If you have received a spot because you signed up with a partner, your spot is only secured if your partner has also registered and paid. If your partner cancels the festival, you will need to find a replacement in order to keep your spot. You can either find a replacement yourself or write an email to us as we might be able to match you with someone from our waiting list.
  • By registering for Shake The Change Festival you agree to pictures and videos being made, shared, and used on social media and for our marketing purposes.
  • For the rare occasion of a teacher getting sick or not being able to join, we might have to substitute the teacher in your track or we might have to change the schedule.
  • We reserve the right to change the time or location of the evening dances and will communicate any changes on our website and/or Facebook Page.
  • Shake The Change Festival reserves the right to refuse admittance to anyone during the festival. 
  • If you behave inappropriately, you may be asked to leave without any refunds given. 
  • Shake The Change Festival does not take any responsibility for incidents and/or injuries nor for personal items or valuables that are lost or stolen during the event. Look out for yourself and others as well, please.
  • With your registration, you accept our terms and conditions, our privacy policy, and our Covid-19 policy.

WHEN DO I PAY?

  • Payment has to be done within 10 days of receiving notification with payment details.

CAN I CANCEL?

  • If you haven’t paid yet, you can cancel your attendance by sending us an email. Please do, so we can give your spot to somebody else.
  • You paid your admittance but you can’t make it after all? There are two options:
  • Sell your ticket to someone with the same role (leader or follower) and let us know.
  • Inform us and we’ll look for a replacement. If we find someone, we’ll refund your payment -15% administrative fee. If we can’t find someone to take your spot, we won’t be able to give you a refund.
